ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf President Makhdoom Javed Hashmi said that the current blasphemy law in the country is against Islamic principles and must be amended.
During a session at National Assembly Javed Hashmi responded and said that Pakistan was created by Qauid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah so that citizens of all religions to be provided with equal opportunities without prejudice no matter what religion of a person is. But today no leader is present in the country. The decisions are being taken by Prime Minister of Pakistan in Washington.

The minorities have neither said anything against Pakistan nor they are involved conspiring against the country. Hashmi said that they too must be allowed a chance to contest for elections and called for amendment of blasphemy law.
