The Times of Israel:
Ten women were arrested Monday morning at the Western Wall for wearing prayer shawls, part of a group of activists from the Women of the Wall organization and supporters who came to the site to pray for the Jewish new month of Adar.
Among the women detained were US and Canadian citizens, including Rabbi Susan Silverman, a Reform rabbi and sister of US comedienne Sarah Silverman.
Editors Note
The Women of the Wall are alleged to be motivated by a desire to make a political statement against traditional Judaism rather than a sincere desire to pray. The influential Rabbis have ruled that women’s prayer groups are permissible only when their motivations are deemed by the rabbis to be “sincere” and not influenced by feminism.

maybe if they all accepted the universal messenger of the true shalom , none of them would be beating themselves against the brick wall and this whole earth would be their prayer mat and the shawl should be worn every where , not just in front of a wall. I’m sorry if the truth offends anyone, but the truth shall set you free

This is the reason people are turning away from religion. It is corruptible as all other man made institutions.
