The scope of Europe’s meat scandal is likely to widen, German Consumer Minister Ilse Aigner warned on Monday, after it was revealed that horse and pork have been found in German döner kebabs.

One point which is not sufficiently covered in all this horse meat scandal is that practically all meat processing companies seem to purchase ‘waste meat products’ to make their end products cheaper.
