Epigraph: “And who is better in speech than he who invites men to Allah and does good works and says, ‘I am surely of those who submit?’” (Al Quran 41:34)
Until the full text of the Keynote Address in European Parliament, Brussels becomes available, readers can draw inspiration from His Holiness’ address in the Capitol Hill, USA earlier this year. Click here to read the previous text in the Review of Religions.
The European Parliament has held a meeting that discussed ‘A Message of Peace’ to look at how forces of tolerance and moderation can tackle religious extremism of all forms.
This was the first meeting of the ‘Friends of Ahmadiyya Muslims group’, a group that highlights that the cause of peace is at the heart of the Muslim faith.
The Ahmadiyya Muslims group promotes a common vision of human rights and freedom of religion for all, and it seeks to promote respect between followers of different faiths.
The Khalifa of Islam and the worldwide head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Hadhrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad delivered a powerful and inspiring address at the European Parliament.
Dr. Charles Tannock, Conservative MEP for London and the new Chairman of the friendship group spoke at the inaugural event.
Dr. Tannock has a strong working relationship with the Ahmadiyya community.
“It is a prosperous, courageous and determined community. Its slogan ‘Love for all, hatred for none’, is the welcome antithesis of the hatred and violence perpetrated by a minority of jihadi radicals.” Dr. Tannock said.
Dr. Tannock said that “religious extremism and violence represents a clear and present danger to both peace and respect for human rights which ultimately underpins our democratic ideals.”

If all muslims can emulate what khalifatul Mashih and his followers are doing now to establish peace in this world, I believe that the whole world would turn to better place to live.

This is the voice of Allah in time for people who possess the highest responsibilities so that they may not be able to claim that they were not admonished and warned when fire will be kindled.
