The Honorable Lord Krishna: A Prophet Of Allah

We AHMADI MUSLIMS believe that Hadhrat Krishan was a Prophet of Allah in India. The Holy Quran mentions that all nations around the Globe had prophets raised among them.A Hadees mention 124,000 prophets came and Hadhrat MUHAMMAD,SAW, has mentioned the name KAHNA(KANIHIA-KRISHNA) of black complexion,a prophet of Allah in “HIND”-INDIA. I, as an Ahmadi Muslim practise Islam and named my FIRST BORN as KRISHAN in the SOUTH PACIFIC in early 1960′s. My son liked the name so much that all his sons contain KRISHAN in their MUSLIM NAMES! THE REAL ISLAM PROVIDES AN INTERNATIONAL BASIS TO GATHER ALL HUMAN BEINGS WORSHIPPING THE “ONE”GOD, ALLAH AND HARMONIOUS BENIFICIAL CO-EXISTANCE IN THE WORLD TODAY. THE PROMISED MESSIAH HAS ELOQUENTLY EXPLAINED THE HOLY QURAN AS THE CULMINATION OF ALLAH’S REVELATIONS SINCE PROPHET ADAM. Mr Mateellauh’s article is very interesting too. This is the true Islamic approach.
All the religion came from the same God.The pearls of the wreath of religions that has been scattered was to be put together by the Holy Prophet of Islam. any came under the canopy of re-union by accepting Islam. And now in this era, the world is give n a bonus chance to re-unite again, at the hand of promised reformer of the later days. Allhamdulillah.

Brother Vikram’s statement contradicts his own point.
God cannot be “WAS”. He always “IS”.
His words show that he is no more. Whereas God has no end.

Second brother Kapil looks more angry. The Holy Gita that he is talking about does not teach these manners.
We Ahamdi Muslims know a lot about Hindu Dharam and we do have names Krishna in our people.
One has to be polite while discussing an issue as important as Religion.
They should know if they hold Gita, and Lord Krishna very revered, We Muslims revere Allah or God even with more intensity. As this is the root of our religion.
We do not necessarily have to respond to people aggressively , if they do not agree with our view, claim or have different opinions, we have to show patience. One can see that on this site everyone’s views are welcome.
In Islam to equalize someone to God is considered unpardonable Sin, But even then here , we tolerate such people. To let them know and discuses our beliefs. That may work as forming bridges between divers community. This site has nothing to do with hate or discrimination.
Jama’at has a History of holding such seminars in which our Hindu, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist brothers keenly participate and share their views. And we too listen to them. As hosts we always welcome them and serve them, listen to them and are listened to.
This is just, as I earlier said, to bring each other near and bridge the gaps.
Our religion is based on this one article that ABSOLUTELY NO ONE IS EQUAL TO GOD. But even then we have to be patient if someone disagrees to it. The message of religion should be conveyed with love and respect.
No one on this site denied fact that Hindu religion is not the known oldest religion on the earth.Yes it definitely is.
But religion traveled in time and evolved in different times in different Nations by different names. Finally taking the shape of Islam. You may disagree to it. But this is what we believe.
Being a Muslim demands us to believe in at least one lac 24 thousands Prophets.
We have to believe that Lord Krishna, Buddha, Christ, were all true exalted Prophets of God.
While respecting your sentiments, it is a request that you should too observe patience.
The site, without any discrimination is pasting your posts and sentiments, as justly as possible. As long as any argument is mannerly, it will be given space.
Pleas do not be offended and follow the footsteps of like “Jahil Mullahs”. It leads to no where.

Lord Krishna was an Avatar -- i.e., incarnation of God and certainly not a Prophet (dharam guru) let alone Prophet of Islam.

Secondly, the Quran has been written just about 1400 years ago. So, its not surprising to find mentioning of already existing religions (both Abrahamic and Non-Abrahamic).

Thirdly, Bhavishya Purana’s verses definitely talk about a Prophet similar to that of Mohammed, but that does not mean that Lord Krishna was a prophet of Allah.

So, please don’t try to prove through your Seal of Prophets reference that Kishna is just another prophet of Allah and Mohammed is the most important prophet. Moreover, Vedic religion is inherently secular when it says “there is only one God”. That means all of us pray before the same God in different forms. But, in Quran, it is clearly mentioned that “There is no God other than Allah, and Mohammed is his messenger”. So, there is a big difference my friend.

Quran maybe revealed 1400 hundred years ago, its author is the same everliving God, Bhagwan, Allah, who revealed Gita to Hadhrat Krsihan.
God’s name is not only Allah. He says in the Holy Quran, all the good names belong to Him. So call him Bhagwan, Eeshwar, God, Khuda Ilaah or Rabb, He is one. The name Allah is according to our belief His personal name, which is not used for anyone else. Every language has a name for Him. Which definitely should be given as much respect. All the rest are His attributes. Like, ever Merciful, (Raheem) Razzaaq, (the provider)Wadood, (the most loving)Kahaliq (The Creator)etc.
Definition of God is, a being that is omni present. Ever living,Almighty. Does not need any food to survive upon. He is free from the human needs and desires. He was always and has no end. He is nearer to us then our Jugular vein. Answers our prayers. Be-gets not and nor is He begotten. Does not sleep or slumber. He is the Creator of everything, and everyone.To Him shall we return.And be accountable for our deeds.
If confined in a human body ,cannot be Omi Present, it must pass through human necessities. Eat, drink, marry, have kids, sleep, earn, suffer, Bath etc. We consider it irreverence of His sacred Being.
God does not need to be among us in a human form.His angels descend when He decides to do something.
As for Hindu religion’s being the oldest, we all know that a human being is forgetful, thus constantly need reminding.
The Holy books of a Prophet contain the very words of God for the guidance of mankind. Anything with the a passage of time needs reforming. Besides, ironically it is evident that previous scriptures were not saved from human interference. We can point out many changes in the original message from God in their versions.Gita and Bible have changes in their scripts. Bhagwan cannot contradict.Of course there are wordings from God in them but human words too are added in the main scripts.
Quran is, till today as it was from the day it was revealed. God has promised to safeguard it until the end of times. Jews, Christians and Hindu claim that Islam stole all the cream of their scriptures and made a book of it”s own. NO. As from the beginning of religious history every religion is from Allah, and it is evident that heedless man kept changing His very word. Allah finally revealed them for the last time, by removing additions and said this time no one will change it. We can see that even if there is no Quran (God forbid) left in the world. Even then , word by word this Holy Book, is saved in the memories and hearts of Huffaz, the people who has memorised it. So in Quran God’s every word is saved and is kept unchanged. This is a matchless sign of it’s truth. Any similarity of Jew’s, Christianity, Hinduism in Quran is a must. Because it is from the same God.
As Hadhrat Krishan Alaih Slaam were called “maakhan chor”. it was the name given by the “Mullahs” or Pundits” or religious clergymen of his time, whose authority was at stake by the advent of Hadhrat Krishan, as He was given matchless teachings afresh from God. The clergymen of his times could not stand before his words. Hence they blamed him for stealing the cream of their teachings, and gave him the name of “maakhan chor”. All the rest account of this is fables and assumptions to mar the credibility of an exalted Prophet, or according to Hinduism an incarnation of God ( God forbid).
A righteous pious and exalted Prophet as he was cannot be a “chor” (thief). Again it is irreverence of such an revered person.
One more thing, Allah says in the Holy Quran, “make no distinction between His messengers”. Even the Holy Prophet of Islam forbade Muslims to give him superiority over other Prophets when Muslim gave him Priority over Prophet Moses Alaihi salaam and the Jew complained him about it. He said do not hurt the feelings of other’s by giving me priority over the Prophet they believe in.
The Prophet of Islam regarded a great Prophet,just because at His hand the religion has been given a final shape. And that every Prophet before him, in his book has prophesied about his advent in the later days, After getting a revelation from Allah. Of which you too have mentioned, a similar Prophet in Gita. Some religions counted him as the re-incarnation of their Prophet, Physically and some spiritually. So every nation was given his tiding. This makes him unique. Even Krishna, if you allow me to say , peace be upon him, because we believe him to be a Prophet, fore told so.

You don’t mind discussing other people’s faith but you get offended when people of other faiths say something you don’t agree or don’t like about your faith. Then you seek vengence, revenge and justice. You get offended if you hear something about your religion which you disagree. I watched a program about Islam and thousands of Muslims wrote in to complain. The freedom of speech only applies to Muslims I have witnessed it my self. If a Muslim killing a Muslim is a sin then why are Muslims being killed almost every day in one country or another around the world. “Religion of Peace”. Why are Kafirs living more peacefully then your selves. Why does your “God” sees more of his people killing each other around the world. How many of this Muslims carrying out killings with (God is great) will go to Heaven? Has anybody not said God doesn’t want you to kill anyone or am I wrong?

Dear Naran, in the Muslim Times we are not offended by reasonable and sincere exchange of ideas.

Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is living peacefully and as patriotic citizens in almost 200 countries of the world. It is true that many of the Muslims in the so called Muslim countries are not following the teachings of Islam.

If you hang around in the Muslim Times you would get to know Islam better.

Politics is a strange animal, if you will remember how the religion of turning the other cheek was turned into murder and mayhem during the centuries of Crusades, you may be able to understand, what is happening to many Muslims under internal and external political consideration, creating a false image of Islam, which has nothing to do in reality with present day chaos.

Brother Naran! please do not mistake us for other radical, irrational Muslims whatever you have said ironically that is what main stream Muslims are doing now days. It has nothing to do with Islam that is religion of peace. It is them that will be accountable for killing any individual,be it a Muslim of non Muslim.
But Ahmadiyya Muslim Community still holds, maintain and practices the true teachings of Islam.
Ahmadiyyah Community of Islam is very much against such brutality. It too is a victim of such practice in Pakistan, Bangladesh and Indonesia by the hands of these radical Mullah-ism. That is what we are fighting again,but with the power of pen, words and prayers.
Please read the link provided by Brother Zia Shah you will know a whole different perspective of Islam that is only about peace, and that is widely practised by Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat.

Happy to know KRISHNA IS REVERED IN YOUR SECT. It does not matter for me that u treat him as Prophet or God. We must love all religions and understand the basic purpose of religion. Hatred in any form is violence. I have realized that Only the divine qualities of a human being can take him to God. So hatred, strong desires, attachments, fanaticism, etc cant help you to find God. It can only take you away from Him. Bhagavad Gita has changed my life. Similarly Quran has changed many lives and still continues to do so. Scriptures of any religion should be understood in right sense. Otherwise it can only ruin the world. I believe in UNITY but not UNIFORMITY.

it is really funny to see that muslims can say “scriptures other than quran has been corrupted”…
in this context i would like them to include quran also in this collection becos in several places in hadiths it is mentioned that some original pages of quran kept in the tent of prophet’s wife AISHAA were eaten up by some goat;also there were several versions of quran existing at the time of CALIPH USMAN and he collected and reviewed all of them and burnt all but one and today we have that version in practice so we dont know what is what;and when the quran was finally compiled after prophet’s death people called it complete but great ABU bakr announced that it might not be so.
recent excavation at SANA in YEMEN has revealed something shocking where they have found pages of quran from the earliest century of islam and those pages are not quite in concordance with today’s quran.
and,ofcourse, you will say that these hadiths are not to be relied upon.
and so i would say you also cant be relied upon when you judge other scriptures.
islam clearly draws a line between muslims and kafirs and it even prohibits muslims from making friends with non-muslims as they cant be trusted.
also quran is not clear about soul as to what its and why it takes birth on earth?
AKHIRAT in quran is incomplete…
it is mostly an admixture of different religions eg.it takes most rituals from jews like circumcision,beard,scull-cap,halal food etc;stories from heaven and hell,of prophets and satan from bible and TAWHEED from vedas…
there is nothing original in quran which it can call its own.
most of the quran is filled with how to live,eat,sleep,have sex,kill,and other external aspect of life and the rest is praises of ALLAH.
but there is nothing in it which one could call spiritual.and we have muslims who keep beard just becos muhammad kept beard…kiss black stone just as he kissed,throw stones at stone satan etcetc.
it clearly has no reason for these myriad life beings on earth.
why one is born as woman and other as man?
why ANISA is not ZIA?
and there are a million such questions which have no answers.
and yet quran is perfect and complete hehehe,how funny.

why people of the perfect book are not really getting it and going on the wrong path while people of the corrupted books are mostly peaceful and tolerant?if the book is so nice and complete and perfect why is it so that so many are going astray?i think muslims should follow these so-called corrupted books to learn peace.

Dear Sorab we should not be victims of simplistic, concrete or black and white thinking, which only allows for one cause and one result. Most things in our life are multifunctional.

Asking for only one cause and one result is like Ex President of USA’s, intolerant claims, “Either you are with us or with the terrorists!”

For a thousand years India was ruled by the Muslims and still came out a Hindu majority country. Speaks volumes about the tolerance of the Muslims. The same did not turn out to be true about Europe, Americas and Australia. Facts are hard things! You can have your own opinion but not your own facts.

who really told you that we survived becos of muslim rulers’s tolerance?
we survived becos of vedic truth to which no muslim had any answer and even today they dont have any…
the questions i have asked you is not today’s invention but they have haunted islam for long.
and to such questions they usually come up with answers like——ALLAH-O-ALAM or there is no compulsion in religion etc.
AL-BARUNI,the historian who accompanied MAHMUD OF GAZNAWI on his first raid to india wrote in his book--”i have not seen such a land where u keep a bag full of gold in the middle of a busy market and u find them untouched in the evening,where no man looks at other women not becos there is a law prohibiting it but becos they dont feel it right,god’s hand is really on this pure land”
so we can clearly see how divine this land was before muslims destroyed it…
today muslims complain about america all the time but thousand years back they were doing the same thing becos they had power back then but today times have changed and west has power so muslims should actually blame time and not america.
only yesterday pakistan destroyed an ancient temple in karachi and this happened in today’s age of media and hi-tech communication so just think 500 years back when there was no global awareness and everything depended on one whimsical command of a fanatic islamic ruler…
muslims did what they could to wipe out hinduism from the face of earth but woes unto them we survived becos the truth is on our side,the divine is on our side.
today muslims demand their rights when they migrate to west but what about non-muslims who suffer endlessly in islamic rule…
why temples,churches are not allowed in arabia etc.?
why muslims can do DAWAH wherever they like but they will not allow non-muslims to propagate their religions in their countries?
dear mr.zia if u want to play then play fair otherwise dont.
your facts might hold true for sugar-coaters but not in the real arena of sincere debate.
and please stop crying about west it is so boring…
muslims have failed miserably on all fronts be it science or arts and all they can do is blame the west.

Sorab you are right in many of your criticism. We the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community suffer at the hand of the majority also in Pakistan and many other countries.

We do believe that all religions should have freedom to preach and their worship places honored.

Please read some of the articles about separation of Church and State in our new site, Islam for the West. You will find the section in the right column of our new site.

Many of our differences here are due to lack of information. My earlier point was that if Charles the Great (Charlemagne) had visited India in the seventh century, the whole of India would have been Christian, Vedas or no Vedas. He did that to many polytheist European countries. In USSR all religions had to go underground and if that had happened in the seventh century and persisted for a thousand years in India, there would be only Christians in India, thanks to Charlemagne.

Respected Bother! You have some reasonable points in your post. In fact I am happy you have so much knowledge about Islam too. You also have a keen interest and thirst of truth.I liked your post.I wish some scholar may attend to them. But in my limited knowledge what I know I will share it here.
It was the practice of the Holy Prophet and his companions that Quran was memorised immediately when revealed. So this is very important to keep in mind. According to Imam Sayuti there were about twenty companions of the Holy Prophet including his four Caliphs who would memorise Quran. Hence even if the goat ate pages does not matter. The Quran was safe in the memories of Huffaz. Even if today each and every copy of Quran be drowned in the sea . It can be re-written word by word again. This is the significance of its truth.
There are very clear records that Quran was there in written form in the life of Holy Prophet. He always instructed the writer as to which chapter a certain verse should be written. So written Quran was there in his life.
But when a number of Huffaz were martyred at the time of Hadhrat Abu Bak’r, the Quran was compiled as a book.The compiled Qur’an was kept by Abu Bak’r r.a until his death.Then remained with Hadhrat Umar bin Khattab r.a until his death, after which it was given to his daughter Hafsa r.a. But at the same time people had their own pages of Quranic text.
During the period of Caliph Uthman r.a, differences in reading the Qur’an became Obvious and after consultation with the companions, Uthman had a standard copy prepared by Zaid bin Thabit, Abdullah bin Zubair and some others. Recorded accounts state that the Quran that was with Hadhrat hafsah was also used to help the compilation. Then Copies were made and distributed. Two of these copies today can be found in Topkapi museum in Istanbul and Tashkent.
The pages of Quran that were burnt were not the whole Qurans but pages. They were burned for the fear that enemy may not take it and disrespect it.
So there is no records of any other scripture to have been saved with this responsibility and care.
Quran is the only book that claims that it has been revealed for the whole mankind. Not to a certain nation and times.
It is also said in the Holy Quran that God will protect it from any change till the end of times.This too is an unmatched evidence of its truth. Since fourteen hundred years it is unchanged.
As for the question then why Muslims are not unite even after having such a great guiding book.The answer is simple they have deserted its teaching.
That is why a reformer was needed.That is why the second coming of Hadhrat Karishan, and Christ(peace be upon them both)is being awaited. Because Deen or Dharam has been forgotten.
We can see even Hindus have so many sects. They also have deserted the true teachings of Vedas or Bhagwad Geeta. Or they would have accepted the Holy Prophet Muhammad peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him. His advent has been is prophesied in Hindu Scriptures.
So is the condition of Christians and Budhists. It shows that mankind is forgetful and need a constant reminding. For this purpose God sends his reformers as Prophets.
The Holy Quran say, and ever Nation has a Guide(prophet). If God is one as you said Tawheed has been taken form Hinduism. But one wonders was at seeing present Idolatry in Hinduism, if or weather in fact Tawheed ever existed in Hindus?
Again I would remind you not to accuse Islam for its similarity with other religions. As this similarity too is evidence of its truth. Al religion came form one God hence the similarity is a must.
All religions began their journey on the path of righteousness but were robbed and cheated by mean individuals. Hence God sent His final version of religious teachings. As the Holy Quran.
Its claim is miraculous. It addresses the whole mankind. It is not for Muslimeen. It is for Muttaqeen ( the pious). Whoever believes in it becomes a Muslim. The obedient.
Many of the previous beneficial teachings have been re-revealed in it with a promise that it shall not be changed, because God will protect from human interference till the end of times.
If anyone has any doubt can check it with the original Quran that is saved in the Museum.
Has any previous scripture been saved unchanged for this long? This one sign itself is enough to prove it’s truth. This is one aspect. In fact the signs of its truth are never ending. May Allah keep us the right path.Amen

mr.ZIA, first of all why do we even talk about the tolerance of any foreign ruler in india?
who has given right to any country to invade any other country?
invading another country for any reason other than defense is totally unfair…
and after invasion u talk about their tolerance.
its like i forcefully enter ur house and capture it and then permit u to live in just one room and say “see how tolerant i am”!!!
muslims had power to do so in the past but now america is doing the same to them so why cry about it?
second thing is that many nations fell to the intolerance of islam becos they were lacking in spiritual knowledge,true knowledge like iran,afganistan etc.but india was and is always connected to its central truth of vedas and so hinduism survived.not only islam but also buddism and jainism tried their luck but they also failed.
polytheism does not exist in india,never did.
u confuse polydeitist with polytheisist.
both are different concepts.
dear Anisa,what u say is quite contradictory to facts becos shia quran has many verses more than sunni quran.and u may also side with one of them but remember followers of both sects belive their quran to be authentic.so which one to believe???
second thing is that when u say such things u raise some serious doubts on the intelligence of god becos we know that god cannot make mistakes.
hence,why did he have to finally decide that he had to save this final revelation for all times?
its as if he knew that he cannot save the earlier books;after failing so many times in efforts he finally got so frustrated that he said”ok now i will save this book and make it final”
this is so unlike god coz it shows fallacy in his judgements…
why did he not save his very first revelation?
did he not know that humans would finally distort it?if yes,then he lacks in power and if no,then he lacks in knowledge.
well ok let us say he was giving humans a chance to save it then again he should have saved his second book or atleast his third book but why did he committed the same mistake of not preserving several times.
even humans dont repeat their mistakes more than thrice.so how could god do so?
third thing, we must see before we say that a particular book is corrupted is whether that book has anything unscientific or illogical…
now under this light if scrutinize quran we find so many of those illogical things which we dont find in other books,it cannot explain even simple facts of life which other books clearly can.
many of its verses were abrogated even at the time of prophet and many more became invalid with time eg.verses on slavery and sex-slaves ie women captured in raids and war becos slavery exist no more and no-one can carry widows from war to their homes nowadays.that is against international laws.
quran cannot explain what is soul,where was it before its birth on earth,what will happen to souls of animals and plants,why some people die early and some late,why some are born handicapped,some die as infants,why some are poor,why some are retards? and many many more of them are there but that is for other time.
muslims say these are different tests for different beings to check their faith but then what are the pre-conditions which decide such diversity?
eg.what special qualities u had that u were not given the body of Shahrukh khan?
and then their are gibberish amorous and sensual pleasures in ur AKHIRAT like 72 virgins,several GILBANS(young adolescent boys)who will serve wine all day long,is this even worth considering as salvation?

I had some Shiah children whom I taught to read Quran. They brought the same Quran. Who can know better then me? So this is misinformation. Please correct it. These are just rumours on which unfortunately Muslims hate monger too propagate without any knowledge.
Besides this is a challenge of Islam that there cannot be any change in the Quran. And that even if anyone tried to produce like of it will not be able to do so.
Why because this is a living book; Allah is with Quran. He proves its truth and punishes its offenders. Whereas other made up things will not have any approval but wrath by Him.

Its interpretations can vary but not the original Quranic text. This allowance has more benefits then harms. The interpretations give us a flexible portal to the need of time.
Whereas all the other scriptures have many versions. And their very text differ.

As for soul. Her are some aspects.
Quran has clearly told where it comes from. It is created by the kalimah (word) or “command” of Allah. That is the soul is created by His Will, when he desires. It did not exist before he commended it to be. However He has told us many things clear about it.
It is from God . Will return to God.
Soul is the “energy” by which our body is run. It is created within foetus and does not come from out side. There maybe some natural means of gaining this energy but surely it is created by Allah’s word anew for each human at the birth.
Every individual has it’s very own soul. We do not have to borrow it.
Because soul is everything. How miserable a person is who does not even have his/ her own soul?
Moreover with this borrowing the sacredness of relations is put at stake. Who knows a son may become father, husband grandfather of his own mother, father or sister. All the relations fall in
absolute chaos and disorder.
In Hinduism a soul as a punishment may suffer to become a filthy animal such as dogs, Alligators , pigs etc.
Ironically in Hinduism a human has two extremes . Either he is a part of God as the souls too are eternal like God. So one wonders can god change Himself to this low?. should He? Is this not absolute insult of God?
I mean this is even too insulting for human the best of creation.
We Muslims do not believe that Allah will ever insult his won chosen one the best of Creation the human to this level.
Not only this if we believe that souls also ever existed side by side with God, then we must believe humans to be part of God and His Sovereign Rule.This is not the definition of God but absolutely disrespect of God.
In the Holy Quran Allah says, that He has taken a solemn pledge from the soul and asked it who is your Lord? It said Allah.
That is why a believer or not when summoned by their Lord it goes to Him without delay. Willy or Nilly. Because He is it’s Master and the Creator.
We Muslims believe God is ever Merciful and loving. He loves us more then seventy mothers. He too is most forgiving. Hence a soul does not have to pass through many “joons” for mukti or salvation. And We believe Heaven is eternal and Hell is temporary where the sick souls will be treated for a while before they entered eternal bliss of Paradise.
No soul can return in bodily form to this world.
Who say Quran does not speak about a soul?
It speaks as relevant as we need to know. No less no more. Because Allah’ say you need not know much about it. In other world it is non of our business. Souls is the “sole” matter of God. Who is the owner and creator of it.

My one question to all the religious scholars irrespective of their religious background is, why BHAGWAN or ALLAH created living beings in first place and then kept on sending prophets (1,24,001) and scriptures to tell men/women what is right and what is wrong and how to walk on the straight path. Was he getting bored and wanted to have some fun?

Good question.

All the scripture convey that, He desired so. He wished so. He wanted so. He wanted to be acknowledged.
Being good human beings and having faith in His existence we have no right to challenge His will.For any believer this is enough that He desired so.
Besides I think only Allah, Bhagwan will be able to answer this question the best. Only it maybe possible when we will be summoned to His Exalted presence.

Once discussing and deliberating with a Christian friend/pastor, my friend(s) interrupted me while I was quoting Bible and proudly ascertained that Jesus claimed to be SON of GOD while your prophet never and ever did so, it shows his highest stature and position among all humans. I said with a great smile, if mere claims be accepted then not Christianity, it is Hinduism that is the greatest religion of all because their religious figure is God himself let alone be son of God. My Christian friend(s) then never and ever made this claim again.

Lord Krsna is not god, he is the source of God, this is according to the vedic scriptures, he is the Supreme Personality of Godhead, from him emanates all the other forms of gods we knw. It is quite complex but for a more detailed explaination regarding this plz do read books by his divine grace AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupad, through his books he disects the ancient into texts we can understand, hope this helps

Hare Krishna, all my friends and elders. I want to inform you all that I have been shocked during my travelling on net. Because I found this page full of complexity. We should not make innocent people doubtful about their scriptures. We are not absolutely faultless. So how can we explain the holy scriptures? The religion which teaches how to love God is perfect one. Because by loving God we will be able to satisfy ourselves and others. So why the question arises about scriptures’ true history, reality? Real religion teaches to love God. Isn’t it? All the people are not wise as a scholar. So when they will see it, they will be shocked. This complex debating will mislead them. Because can you convert yourselves to a certain religion by anybody’s debating? Think it as your own problem. Religion is love, love to God. If anybody satisfies offering love to God by the scriptures then what is the problem? Argument is not a way to know about truth. Can you recognise your father without the help of your mother? It is impossible. Scriptures are as mother. Can we research about the realty of our mother? Scriptures advise us to be happy by connected with God. We can realize this when we read them perfectly. We can create doubt among people, not a happy condition by controversial talking. It should be stopped. Let’s try to realize our holy scriptures and create a brotherhood. That’s all.
Please forgive me if my words melt anybody’s mind of you.

If one read Lord Krsna activities and past times one with a clear mind and intelligence will never say that Lord Krsna is merely a prophet ,in fact He is the Supreme Lord Himself .i ask the muslims has any prophets has given final emancipation and promotion to the heaven ? Please understand ..Krsna was in human form..its a sign of mercy but not an excuse to call him a human prophet !!

First you have to prove that Hadhrat Krishan whom you call Lord Krishna did manifest himself in a universal form.
At the same time, if you believe him to be so you may continue. Because there is no compulsion in Religion.We cannot force you to believe what we do.
Likewise no one can force us to believe him as a supernatural deity.
Neither it can be said that we have nothing to do with Hadhrat Karishan. Because it is part of our faith to believe in every Prophet that till date God sent. we cannot be a true Muslim if we do not believe him to be a messenger from the Divine.
As for the divine oneness of God we Muslim strictly have to believe that there is no one equal or no one absolutely no one shares this divine status with this supreme being that we call Allah, God , Bhagwan or Eshwar.

Dear Friends,

Whether Lord Krishna was a saint, prophet or God is not a subject of feud. Who are you but a fickle of dust, to even try and understand the Almighty. You show your lack of sensibilities if you think you can define, let alone understand in entirety something beyond your capabilities -- like DEFINING Lord Krishna.
I was very happy reading the article.
And for my “practising hindu brothers” read the Srimad Bhagwad Gita in its entirety and understand the metaphorical, sweet simple and beautiful languge before jumping to conclusions.

“ahimsa satyam akrodhas tyagah shantir apaisunam
daya bhutesv aloluptvam mardavam hrir acapalam”

if you dont know what this means then here’s some help:
Nonviolence, truthfulness, free from anger, renunciation, purity, aversion to faultfinding, compassion for all living entities, freedom from covetousness, gentleness, modesty, firmness.

Imbibe this in your nature, and you will not be required to fight/ disregard/ dispute somebody else’s feelings.

Do not get trapped in the words, these Muslim brothers and sisters are making an effort in understanding and acknowledging Hindu Ideas, in language and words best suited for them. Do not mar their attempt with pompous ignorant words of yours.

Please if you truly are Krishna-bhakts then understand the beautiful, innocent, love-filled, blissful, love for the Devkinandan.

Lord Krishna is God himself.

He is a prophet of nobody by calling him this you have insulted God himself.

Get your facts straight instead of spreading propaganda.

Read the Bhagavad Gita.

Hinduism is thousands of years old, it existed before islam was even created just as Lord Krishna (God) appeared to disclose the Bhagavad Gita (over 5,000 years ago)again before islam even existed.
