A German court ruled that circumcision for non-medical reasons is bodily harm – a criminal assault – a decision that is bound to create uproar among Jewish and Muslim communities. Is it a reasonable ruling? Have your say.

The German Court’s ruling does not violate the BOY’s religious freedom, in fact, it preserves it. At the same time, it preserves his body. Remaining INTACT is everyone’s right, including children.

It is a religious matter the religions are believed to be from God Almighty and courts must not interfere in such matters. Religious people affected by this decision must go in appeal in the next higher court against this order.

Dan Bollinger. I never heard of a case that a man said “sorry, I cannot convert from Islam to Christianity, because I am circumcised”, have you?
(or about a Jew who might have wanted to convert to Christianity…)
