KARACHI: Difa-e-Pakistan Council (DPC)’s Karachi rally, being organised with the support of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), began today (Sunday) at the Quaid’s mausoleum where several religious and political leaders are giving speeches, reported Express News.JI chief Munnawar Hassan, Maulana Samiul Haq, Hafiz Mohammad Saeed, former Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) chief Hameed Gul, former federal minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed, Chief of Ahle Sunnat wal Jamaat (ASWJ) Ahmed Ludhianvi, late General Ziaul Haq’s son Ejazul Haq, among many others, are present at the rally.
While expressing satisfaction over the turnout at the rally, Jamatud Dawa (JuD) chief Saeed said that the US was leaving Afghanistan after facing a serious defeat.
“US failed to achieve its goals in Afghanistan and now wants to accomplish those same goals in Balochistan,” Saeed said.
The JuD chief also said that the current government of Pakistan should break away from the Pak-US partnership.

As soon as Pakistan is self-sufficient and does not need to beg for ‘aid’ they can ‘break away’ and be truly independent. When will we see that day?

These so called religious scholars are unfortunately devoid of basic common sense. They want to push Pakistan into violent Jihad against the West, while Pakistan buys its technology and weapons from the West. Now imagine the fate of those masses that people like this lead.
Let me offer a test case to these Mullahs. Once they can dis-assemble and assemble an F-16 in a Madrassah, they should then inspire everyone for Jihad, it would be the right timing then. But, this will not happen until the doomsday.
